Food Blogging
In my two years of blogging, these are the three resources that have helped me the most. If you're creating a food blog, too, they'll help you get off to a great start.
Food Blogger Pro is a fabulous community headed up by Bjork and Lindsay of Pinch of Yum. I'm a member, and the videos and forums are invaluable resources. Imagine being able to ask any of your blog-related questions to a group of over 900 helpful people, including Bjork and Lindsay themselves--it's awesome. I've gotten quick and helpful responses to every query I've made. The videos will teach you everything from how to set up your blog to how to take photographs with artificial lighting.

Lindsay Ostrom of Pinch of Yum wrote a fabulous e-book on food photography, which helped me so much with improving my photos and getting them posted on recipe submission sites. The book also comes with a whole set of video tutorials, which is how I learned to use Lightroom and Photoshop! I can't recommend it highly enough.
Pinch of Yum also has this great page about getting started with a food blog, and this page with resources for bloggers.
Cookie and Kate has a nice post about starting a food blog.
Recipe Submission Sites
This is a great way to get traffic to your blog! Plus, these sites are so much fun to browse. I find Dishfolio accepts submissions more readily than the others, so it's a good place to start.
This page contains affiliate links to products I use myself and highly recommend.
